Project Two:
Replacing a damaged Soakaway.
The site:
Somewhere in the Shropshire countryside.
The Problem:
The soakaway, blocked by tree roots after many years service, was no longer capable of clearing the waste water from the septic tank.
The Solution:
Replace the length of damaged soakaway, and add an inspection cover to allow the pipe to be cleared if the need arises.
The soakaway runs toward the end of the garden, following the line indicated above.

The soakaway is laid into a gravel-filled trench, with a covering membrane
to protect the gravel from filling with soil.
The pipe is carefully laid to ensure a steady 'fall' away from the tank.

allowing work to progress rapidly despite the limited access available.

A fully-working sewage system, that will, thanks to our engineers care and skill, last for many years.
